Twinnies' 6th Birthday Celebration at Home
After the celebration at Kindy, these were the cakes they requested to celebrate at home. Enya wanted Tinkerbell design and Myra wanted Princess Aurora design.
Mushroom and grass (slightly an inch higher than the actual cake), mould it earlier then let it air dry.
My usual method in moulding 2D sugar paste image:
1. Draw desired image on sketching paper.
2. Trace the image on the sugar paste.
3. Cut according to outline and place the cut image on a piece of parchment/wax paper. Let it air dry.
4. Once its dried completely, proceed to paint it with food colouring. For more complicated method, it can be done by tracing each different part of the image on the coloured sugar paste, cut according then stick on the air-dried sugar paste. I have done a few before like Minnie Mouse, Hello Kitty, Boboiboy, Little Mermaid, Slugterra etc.
