Chocolate Dripping Black Forest Cake

It is important on the type of chocolate we used to make this dripping cake, not successful for the first few times. Melted chocolate either set too fast or it is not liquid enough to drip down the cake side.



Like the cake below, melted the chocolate, and it set so fast before it drip down...

I have tried using Beryl's 62% dark chocolate, Callebaut 54% dark chocolate and Ghalidra Bittersweet Chocolate Chips. Different brand of chocolate and % of cacao butter will affect the end result. Need to adjust the amount of cream in the recipe to achieve the right consistency, not too thick or too runny.


Have a short baking session with my friend as she wanted to learn how it is done. Lucky its turned out great! 👍 

We baked two 6 inches chocolate chiffon cake, then filled with dark cherries and frosted with vanilla whipping cream.
