Carrot and Asparagus Meat Rolls


One of my simple dish that I've prepared several times for my girls' snack box as it's easy and tasty to make (... & healthy too!๐Ÿ˜Š)

Here is the recipe:

Carrot Asparagus Meat Rolls

Ingredients:
200 g sliced Pork ่‚‰็‰‡
1 pc Ham, cut into strips (optional) ๅŽš็ซ่…ฟ๏ผŒๅˆ‡ๅฐๆฎต
1/2 Carrot, cut into strips ็บข่ๅœ๏ผŒๅˆ‡ๅฐๆฎต
2 to 3 sticks Asparagus, peel skin and halved ่Šฆ็ฌ‹๏ผŒๅŽป็šฎ๏ผŒๅˆ‡ๅฐๆฎต
1 tablespoon Cooking Oil ๆฒน

[Marinade ่…Œๆ–™]
1 teaspoon light Soy Sauce ็”ŸๆŠฝ
2 tablespoons Water ๆฐด
1 teaspoon Corn Flour ็ฒŸ็ฒ‰
Dash of Pepper ่ƒกๆค’็ฒ‰
Dash of Sea Salt ๆตท็›

[Seasoning ่ฐƒๅ‘ณๆ–™]
1 tablespoon light Soy Sauce/Teriyaki Sauce ็”ŸๆŠฝ
1 teaspoon Brown Sugar ้ป„็ณ–
3 tablespoon Water ๆฐด


[Preparations: Stove ็‚‰]
1. Marinade pork slices with marinade ingredients for 30 minutes. ่‚‰็‰‡ๅŠ ๅ…ฅ่…Œๆ–™ๆ‹ŒๅŒ€๏ผŒ่…Œ30ๅˆ†้’Ÿใ€‚
2. Place ham and carrot onto a slice of pork and roll up. Repeat for the remaining pork slices. ๅฐ†็ซ่…ฟๅ’Œ็บข่ๅœ้“บๅœจ่‚‰็‰‡ไธŠๅทๅฅฝใ€‚
3. Heat up 1 tbsp cooking oil and pan-fry meat rolls until fragrant. add seasoning and cook over high heat until the sauce has thickened. Set aside. ็ƒง็ƒญ1ๅคงๅŒ™๏ผŒๆ”พๅ…ฅ่‚‰ๅท็…Ž้ฆ™๏ผŒๅŠ ๅ…ฅ่ฐƒๅ‘ณๆ–™ๅคง็ซ็…ฎ่‡ณๆฑๆต“็จ ๏ผŒๅณๅฏ็››่ตทใ€‚

[Preparations: Oven ็ƒค็‚‰, preheat at 180c ้ข„็ƒญ180c]
1. Marinade pork slices with marinade ingredients for 30 minutes. ่‚‰็‰‡ๅŠ ๅ…ฅ่…Œๆ–™ๆ‹ŒๅŒ€๏ผŒ่…Œ30ๅˆ†้’Ÿใ€‚
2. Place ham and carrot onto a slice of pork and roll up. Repeat for the remaining pork slices. ๅฐ†็ซ่…ฟๅ’Œ็บข่ๅœ้“บๅœจ่‚‰็‰‡ไธŠๅทๅฅฝใ€‚
3. Get ready baking tray with lined foil, arrange veggie meat rolls on the baking tray. ๅ‡†ๅค‡ๅฅฝ้“บไธŠ้”ก็ฎ”็บธ็š„็ƒค็›˜, ๅฐ†่‚‰ๅทๆ”พไธŠ็ƒค็›˜ใ€‚
4. Mix seasoning with 1 tbsp cooking oil, glaze the veggie meat rolls with the seasoning mixture and grilled for 10-15 minutes or until cooked. ๅฐ†่ฐƒๅ‘ณๆ–™ๅ’Œๆฒนๆ…ๆ‹Œๆททๅˆ๏ผŒๆถ‚ๆ“ฆๅœจ่‚‰ๅทไธŠไพฟๆ”พๅ…ฅ็ƒค็‚‰้‡Œ็ƒค10-15ๅˆ†้’Ÿๆˆ–่‡ณ็†Ÿ้€ใ€‚



And it can be baked in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes at 180c, save much time!
